Niccolò Grilli
Biography
Niccolò Grilli was born in Pescia on February 20th, 1999. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florence in 2021, with a thesis entitled "Preliminary analysis of an integrated ICE-gasifier plant for power generation from plastic waste material”. In 2022, he was awarded by the University of Florence as the best engineering graduate of 2021. He then received his Master’s degree in Vehicle Engineering in October 2023 at the University of Florence with the thesis “On the feasibility of the HAVOK methodology for predicting irregular combustion phenomena in internal combustion engines”. From November 2023, he is attending a PhD in Industrial Engineering, concerning hydrogen-fuelled internal combustion engines research. Specifically, he has been focusing on rapid prototyping for real-time engine control strategies development.
