Marco Dreoni was born in Bagno a Ripoli, Italy, on 08/05/1995. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2018 and his master's degree in energetic engineering in 2020 with thesis "Multibody Aeroelastic Simulation of a H-Darrieus Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine". The research work for the thesis was developed at Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, during a 4-months Erasmus + internship.
From November 2020 to December 2021 he worked as plant engineer for an engineering company of Florence specialized in technical plants and HVAC.
From January 2022 he is attending the PhD course in Industrial Engineering on green and innovation themes offered by the University of Florence. The research is particularly focused on the development of a CFD model of electrolyzers for green hydrogen production, work carried out in collaboration with McPhy.
