Biography
Alessandro Bianchini is Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence since 2024.
He was born in Fiesole (FI), Italy on 21/11/1982. He received his Master Degree in Energy Engineering on 18/07/2007 from the University of Florence, and the PhD in “Energy Engineering and Innovative Industrial Technologies” on 13/04/2011.
In addition to scientific responsibilities within Unifi, Prof. Bianchini presently serves as Vice President of the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) and as Associated Editor for “Wind Energy Science” Journal.
